Ontario Tech recognizes its diverse student population and is committed to celebrating and bringing awareness to the multitude of commemorative days that happen in Canada over the year.

• Genocide Remembrance, Condemnation, and Prevention Month; We will take the time to remember the victims of genocide, honor the courage and resilience of all survivors and their descendants, and reflect on how we can prevent future atrocities from occurring
  
  
• Sikh Heritage Month: We will recognize the many past and current contributions of the Sikh community in making Canada the country it is today
  
  
• Second Wednesday in April: We celebrate International Day of Pink, a day to stand up against discrimination of the 2SLGBTQ+ community.
