Peer Mentorship Program
Our Peer Mentorship Program connects new students with trained upper-year mentors who offer guidance, support and connection throughout your first year and beyond.
Whether you're navigating campus for the first time, wondering how to get involved, or just want someone to talk to, we're here to help. The program offers two types of support, depending on what you need and when you need it:
Transition Peer Mentorship
All new fall-start students are automatically matched with a Peer Mentor from their faculty. Your mentor is an upper-year student trained to help you navigate your transition to university life
What to expect:
- Ask questions in group chats or one-on-one.
- Connect with other new students.
- Get tips from someone who’s been here.
- Learn your way around campus and classes.
- Meet your mentor during Orientation.
- Receive helpful campus referrals.
No sign-up needed for direct entry students—just check your personal email in the summer and we’ll take care of the rest!
Ongoing Individual Mentorship
Ongoing Mentorship is for any student looking to keep working with a Peer Mentor—whether you’re setting goals, facing challenges or planning your next steps.
What this looks like:
- Build meaningful peer relationships
- Get help exploring involvement or leadership
- Receive tailored support and resources
- Set academic or personal goals
- Schedule regular one-on-one check-ins
The opt-in form opens in September—check back soon for more details.
