I have two final exams in one day, what do I do?

Unfortunately, due to scheduling constraints, you may have multiple exams in a short period of time. The Office of the Registrar will contact you if there is a true conflict based on our policies. We recommend connecting with the Student Learning Centre about exam prep resources if you're struggling to prioritize studying for each exam.

We understand that exams can be stressful. We have several supports and services that are here to help you succeed!

If you're worried about your final exam and are feeling overwhelmed, the Student Learning Centre runs exam prep workshops at the end of each term and offers drop-in sessions on course related content.

If you need extra help to further prepare you and get organized, you can book a one-on-one appointment with an Academic Specialist or Peer Tutor. Visit the Student Learning Centre website to learn more

Where can I access my exam schedule?

Learn more - Where can I access my exam schedule?

Your individual exam schedule will be available six weeks prior to the exam period on MyOntarioTech

To be on the safe side, do not schedule trips/events during the entirety of the exam period; those dates are scheduled and posted in the important dates section of the 2024-2025 Academic Calendar.

If you are unable to attend an exam because of religious observance or an unforeseen circumstance (e.g. family emergency, death, serious illness, etc.), there is a process for exam deferral requests. Make sure to submit by the deadline for consideration.
